Call for safe births in crisis areas

Inspi­red by the appeal by seve­ral asso­cia­ti­ons in the pre- and peri­na­tal field “Call for safe birth in Pal­es­ti­ne” and the high level of con­cern about armed con­flicts in the world, mem­bers of the board and the sci­en­ti­fic con­tri­bu­ti­on have writ­ten a let­ter on “Safe birth in cri­sis are­as”. We would like to point out that pregnant women, unborn child­ren, women giving birth and babies and their fami­lies are par­ti­cu­lar­ly affec­ted by the huma­ni­ta­ri­an cata­stro­phe in cri­sis are­as such as natu­ral dis­as­ters and war zones.
