Das ist Michael Trout!

Im Bereich der psy­chi­schen Gesund­heit seit 1968 und seit 1979 in der Pri­vat­pra­xis lei­tet Herr Trout ein Insti­tut, das sich mit For­schung, kli­ni­scher Pra­xis und kli­ni­scher Aus­bil­dung zu Bin­dungs­pro­ble­men befasst. Er war Grün­dungs­prä­si­dent der Michi­gan Asso­cia­ti­on for Infant Men­tal Health und der Inter­na­tio­nal Asso­cia­ti­on for Infant Men­tal Health, war im Char­ter Edi­to­ri­al Board des Infant Men­tal Health Jour­nal und war Vize­prä­si­dent der UN ited Staa­ten für die World Asso­cia­ti­on for Klein­kind Men­tal Health und dien­te im Berufs­bei­rat, im Vor­stand und als Her­aus­ge­ber des News­let­ter für APPPAH – die inter­na­tio­na­le Gesell­schaft für prä­na­ta­le und peri­na­ta­le Psy­cho­lo­gie.

In den letz­ten 100 Jah­ren, seit der Zeit des Otto Rank, “Das Trau­ma der Geburt” im Jahr 1920, haben vie­le Pio­nie­re im Bereich der Prä­na­tal­wis­sen­schaf­ten das Ver­ständ­nis der Bedeu­tung unse­rer Vor­kon­zep­ti­on für die Klein­kind­schaft ihr Licht hin­zu­ge­fügt er Rest unse­res Lebens.

Wir erken­nen sie und inter­view­en sie, neh­men die­se Inter­views per Video auf und tei­len sie mit der Welt, damit ande­re die Mög­lich­keit haben, sie aus ers­ter Hand zu tref­fen und nicht durch die Erzäh­lun­gen derer, die sich erin­nern und direkt von ihren Lip­pen ler­nen.

Meet Michael Trout!

In the men­tal health field sin­ce 1968, and in pri­va­te prac­ti­ce sin­ce 1979, Mr. Trout directs an insti­tu­te enga­ged in rese­arch, cli­ni­cal prac­ti­ce and cli­ni­cal trai­ning rela­ted to pro­blems of attach­ment. He was the foun­ding pre­si­dent of the Michi­gan Asso­cia­ti­on for Infant Men­tal Health and the Inter­na­tio­nal Asso­cia­ti­on for Infant Men­tal Health, was on the char­ter Edi­to­ri­al Board of the Infant Men­tal Health Jour­nal, ser­ved as Vice-Pre­si­dent for the United Sta­tes for the World Asso­cia­ti­on for Infant Men­tal Health, and ser­ved on the Pro­fes­sio­nal Advi­so­ry Coun­cil, the Board of Direc­tors and as Edi­tor of the News­let­ter for APPPAH–the inter­na­tio­nal socie­ty for pre­na­tal and peri­na­tal psy­cho­lo­gy.

Over the last 100 years, sin­ce the times of Otto Rank publi­shing “The Trau­ma of Birth” in 1920, a lot of pio­neers in the field of Pre­na­tal Sci­en­ces have added their light to the under­stan­ding of the signi­fi­can­ce of our pre-con­cep­ti­on to infan­cy for the rest of our life.

We spot them and inter­view them, video record the­se inter­views and share with the world so that others can have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to meet them first hand and not through the nar­ra­ti­ves of tho­se who remem­ber and learn right from their lips.
